The Chula Vista Public Library and Recreation Departments will provide free lunches and afternoon snacks for children 1-18 years of age from March 18-27 at selected sites. The free program corresponds with Chula Vista public school’s spring break, and is offered in cooperation with the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Lunches and snacks are available as follows:

Otay Recreation Center, 3554 Main Street, lunch 12:30-1:30 p.m., snack 3-3:30 p.m., March 18-22; Parkway Recreation Center, 373 Park Way, lunch 12-1 p.m., March 18-27 (Monday-Friday); Civic Center Library, 365 F Street, snack 3 p.m., March 18-27 (Monday-Friday); South Chula Vista Library, 389 Orange Avenue, snack 3 p.m., March 18-27 (Monday-Friday). All food must be consumed on the premises.

In addition, the Civic Center Library will be showing movies for children immediately following snack time on Tuesdays and the South Chula Vista Library will air movies on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.
