The City of Chula Vista welcomes the return of the 2013 Taste of Third & Art Walk! Sponsored by the Third Avenue Village Association (TAVA), the event returns on Thursday, March 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. The walking culinary art event features a self-guided tasting tour of fifteen Third Avenue eateries. Along the way, participants can enjoy unique art displays, a cappella musical acts and sidewalk chalk art exhibits.

A Taste of Third ticket acts as a passport allowing for samples of classic American favorites to exotic Italian and Mexican dishes and ending with French style pastries. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event. Tickets are limited and historically have sold out, so an early purchase is recommended.

Local businesses participating this year include California Sushi, City Market, DíVolada Cafe, Don Pedro Taco Shop, Edible Arrangements, El Primero Hotel, Fuddruckers, Illusion Dance Hall Catering, Italianissimo Trattoria, Jimmyís by the Park, La Bella Pizza Garden, Mangia Italiano On Third, Marie Callenderís, My Cup of Tea and Sweet Sisters Bakery.

Tickets are available at TAVA officeís located at 353 Third Avenue, Chula Vista. Group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.
