|This week, Chula Vista was named by the California Air Resources Board one of the “coolest cities” of the
CoolCalifornia City Challenge. The statewide competition took place to encourage local communities across the state to make a difference by reducing their carbon footprints.
Chula Vista came in second in the contest thanks to our residents and busineses who adopted sustainable behaviors such as reducing energy use or riding bicycles instead of driving.
