The Chula Vista Public Library and Recreation Departments will provide free lunches and afternoon snacks for children 1-18 years of age from September 23-October 4 at selected sites. The free program corresponds with Chula Vista public school’s fall break, and is offered in cooperation with the Chula Vista Elementary School District. All food must be consumed on the premises. Lunches and snacks are available Monday through Friday as follows:

Otay Recreation Center, 3554 Main Street, snack 3-3:30 p.m.;

Parkway Recreation Center, 373 Park Way, lunch 12:30-1:30 p.m.;

Civic Center Library, 365 F Street, lunch 12-1 p.m., snack 3 p.m.;

South Chula Vista Library, 389 Orange Avenue, lunch 12-1 p.m., snack 3 p.m.

In addition, the Civic Center Library will be showing movies for children immediately following lunch and the South Chula Vista Library will air movies on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. after snack.
