Your Chula Vista Public Library is much more than a place with lots of books, computers and tapes it also serves as a valuable resource for information on numerous subjects, including your health! During the month of October, the Chula Vista Library has several events planned to help keep you healthy.

The local Health and Human Services Agency, in partnership with the Chula Vista Library, will be offering free flu vaccinations on October 10, from 1-6 p.m. at the Civic Center Branch, 365 F Street. Or come to the free flu and shingles clinic, sponsored by Rite-Aid, on Wednesday, October 23, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Civic Center Branch.

Do you have questions about the new Affordable Care Act and how it affects you and your family?
