|National, state and local surveys identify that transportation is consistently one of the top three issues affecting senior citizens’ activities of daily living. To help address this issue, the City of Chula Vista Commission on Aging will be hosting a transportation forum on Tuesday, October 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The forum, to be held at the Norman Park Center, 270 F Street, will offer seniors information as a result of a needs assessment survey conducted last year which identifies what needs are not being met as well as future needs of the aging population.
Seniors living in Chula Vista are the focus of the event, but anyone is welcome to attend, especially caregivers and family members that assist a senior citizen. For more information, please call (619) 409-1930.
