|The Chula Vista City Council is requesting input from the Chula Vista community (including City employees) regarding the attributes and skills they are looking for in the next City Manager. Input will be taken at the May 6, 2014, City Council meeting at 5 p.m. (time certain).
The selection of a new City Manager is required due to the retirement of Jim Sandoval effective July 1, after a 15-year career with the City. The City Manager administers a $261 million annual budget and oversees 10 departments with a workforce of nearly 1,000 employees.
