RECREATION OFFERS A VARIETY OF SUMMER CAMPS

If you don’t want to hear, “I’m bored” this summer while the kids are on summer break, then the Chula Vista Recreation Department has just the cure. Five City recreation centers are offering a variety of camps June 9 – July 24 when Chula Vista public schools are on summer break. Camp fees range from $35 to $160 with half day as well as full day camps scheduled.

Some featured camps include aquatics, art, dance, basketball, volleyball, tennis and even a therapeutics camp for children with disabilities. Salt Creek Community Center is also offering several camps with scheduled field trips to such locations as Museum of Man/Skyzone, Olympic Training Center/Aquatica, and Air & Space Museum/Laser Journey.

For registration and more information on these great summer camps, go to www.chulavistaca.gov/rec, or call (619) 409-5979.
