|The City of Chula Vista is currently accepting applications for volunteer positions on Boards & Commissions. To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old and registered to vote in Chula Vista elections. Among the vacancies are:
Board of Appeals & Advisors
Board of Ethics (must submit resume with application)
Growth Management Oversight Commission (must submit resume with application): Northwest territory representative; Southeast territory representative; Development representative
Historic Preservation Commission (must submit resume with application)
Housing Advisory Commission: 2 Tenant representative; 1 Lender representative
Planning Commission (must submit resume with application)
Resource Conservation Commission
Veterans Advisory Commission
Youth Action Council (must be a high school student in 10th, 11th or 12th grade and a Chula Vista resident).

The City Clerk’s office is open Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon.
