The Professional Standards Unit (PSU) ensures the department supports,

and providing liaison to the City Attorney's office and Human Resources
Department on issues regarding Civil Service, Risk Management, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA),
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
