11/14/2009 - LED Holiday Light Exchange, CFL Light bulb & Torchiere Exchange + Therm Kit Give-Away Event   11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Hosted by: City of Chula Vista and San Diego Gas & Electric
  • Exchange up to three (3) incandescent holiday light strands for multi-colored LED holiday light strands (while supplies last)
  • Exchange up to five (5) incandescent light bulbs (75 watts or higher) for equal number of energy efficient CFLs (new this year - multiple styles to choose from!)
  • Trade up to two (2) halogen lamps (any style lamp with a halogen bulb) for equal number of new energy-efficient floor or table lamps

LED holiday lights are cool to the touch (a reduced fire hazard) making them safer for you and your family; and LED lights are brighter, lasting up to 100 times longer than incandescent lights, and provide up to 90% in energy savings.

New this year! Receive a FREE home energy-savings kit and a green reusable shopping bag! The kit includes a low-flow showerhead and three faucet aerators.

Please bring a valid California ID and/or a copy of your current SDG&E bill with you to the event. Lighting offer is limited to five CFLs, two torchiere lamps, three incandescent holiday light strands, and one home energy-savings kit per household per year.
