Bertha - Bertha's diabetes is in remission. Currently she is on a canned food diet to keep her diabetes under control.
Bertha (A124487) is a gorgeous medium coated spayed female gray tabby. She is about 11 years old and weighs almost 12 pounds. She is currently under treatment for diabetes. At present, she is showing signs of being in remission. Bertha will require an easy going home that will keep her on a canned food diet the rest of her life. She will need glucose checkups every 3 months to make sure her diabetes is under control. If her diabetes recurs she will require daily insulin injections. Bertha has been the best patient for the medical staff. She is easy to handle and adores just hanging out on someone's lap. Help Bertha find a forever home.
