- Microchipping and rabies vaccinations are offered at the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1-4 pm.

- Vaccinations cost $5 and can be given to any dog over four months old.

- Microchipping costs $15 per animal.

On Saturday, May 1, the Girl Scouts Brownie Troop 5191 came to the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility laden with gifts they have collected for the orphaned pets at the shelter. Besides the donation of bath towels, dog and cat beds and toys, they also presented the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility with a monetary donation they raised through cookie sales. The Brownie Troop learned about being safe around dogs and also got a behind the scenes tour. They even go to meet Zoey, one of our many great dogs up for adoption.
