"MIDNIGHT IN PARIS" (2011. 94 minutes. PG-13)
Woody Allen's fizzy fantasy is a snappy valentine to the "City of Lights". While moping around the city after dark, a Hollywood screenwriter (Owen Wilson) discovers a midnight portal that transports him back to the storied Paris of the 1920’s, where he rubs elbows with Salvador Dali, Ernest Hemingway, Luis Bunuel and F. Scott Fitzgerald. With Rachel McAdams. Discussion after the film. Sponsored by Friends of the Chula Vista Library and a Chula Vista Visual and Performing Arts Grant.
