Many City of Chula Vista operations continue despite City facility closures. Here is a list of City Services you can access online. The City Hall Complex (except for the Finance Counter), Public Works, City Recreation Centers, the Norman Park Senior Center and Chula Vista Public Libraries are closed until further notice. This closure includes library, cultural arts and recreation programming, as well as youth and adult sports held at local parks/fields. Critical Public Safety Operations continue. The CVPD lobby is open for limited services.

South Bay Pride Art & Music Festival

South Bay Pride Art and Music Festival is celebrating its twelfth year this September 14th at the Bayside Park in Chula Vista. The park is the perfect venue to spend an afternoon enjoy the bay breeze, live music, fantastic food and beverages while taking in the artisans and exhibitors or just sitting back and enjoying the day on its wide expanse of lawn. Just 10 minutes south of downtown San Diego, one can find this free community Pride event offering its unique, laid-back celebration of Stonewall. On the fiftieth anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, it is always good to recognize that we have more to do but also, how far we have come. Chula Vista stands as a model for a city that has done just that in embracing its LGBTQ community in all their diversity. Once again, our very own Regina Styles will be emceeing with our Richard & Devlin SD King’s group entertaining us between the some of the best local bands.
