Join us online to learn about the City of Chula Vista Police Department (CVPD) Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) program. The forum is an opportunity for residents to provide input for CVPD and City Council to consider regarding how the program is implemented.

Acompáñenos en línea para conocer sobre el Programa de Reconocimiento Automático de Placas Vehiculares (ALPR) del Departamento de Policía de Chula Vista (CVPD). Este foro es una oportunidad para que los residentes brinden información que será considerada por el CVPD y el Cabildo de la Ciudad al decidir cómo se implementara el programa.

You are welcome to submit a presentation to be included as a public comment and it will be posted on the website and provided to the City Council with all Community Forum comments received. If you are going to call in to the Forum, please provide the title of your presentation so the public and Council can refer to it when it’s posted to the website. The presentation can be sent to communications@chulavistaca.gov.

Puede enviar una presentación para que se incluya como parte de los comentarios públicos y  para que se publique en el sitio web. También  se le dará una copia  a los miembros del Cabildo junto con todos los comentarios del Foro Comunitario que se hayan recibido. Si va a participar en el Foro, facilite el título de su presentación para que el público y el Cabildo puedan referirse a ella cuando se publique en el sitio web. La presentación puede enviarse a communications@chulavistaca.gov.

At the April 20 City Council meeting, the public will have an opportunity to share a presentation if they wish. Each commenter will have up to five minutes at the City Council meeting.  A commenter may have up to 10 minutes if the commenter has an additional member of the public cede his/her time (both people must be present at the meeting). The presentation must be received by the City Clerk at least 24 hours in advance of the April 20 Council Meeting at cityclerk@chulavistaca.gov.

En la reunión que el Cabildo llevará a cabo el 20 de abril , el público tendrá la oportunidad de compartir una presentación si lo desea. Cada participante dispondrá de hasta cinco minutos en la junta de la Ciudad.  Un  participante podrá disponer de hasta 10 minutos si otro miembro del público le cede su tiempo (ambas personas deben estar presentes en la reunión). La presentación deberá ser recibida por el City Clerk cityclerk@chulavistaca.gov  al menos 24 horas antes de la reunión del Cabildo del 20 de abril.
