Following Amps & Ales on Saturday, September 17, the City, Downtown Chula Vista and the Consul General of Mexico in San Diego are hosting a free El Grito event in Memorial Bowl. Come experience an annual Mexican celebration on September 17 from 5 to 9 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, food, traditional observances and more! Also joining us will be Consul General of Mexico to San Diego, Carlos González Gutiérrez, who will be conducting the official El Grito ceremony. Open to all ages.
