Celebrate the magic of the holidays in Chula Vista at the 61st Annual Starlight Parade and Festival! The City of Chula Vista invites you to this beloved South Bay tradition, which will light up Third Avenue with dazzling floats, joyful participants, and activities for all ages.
Starlight Parade Route & Street Closure Times
Park Way (Westbound) Closure: Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 a.m. - Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 a.m.
Park Way (Eastbound) Closure: Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m. - Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 a.m.
Closure for All Other Roads on Map: Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m. - Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 a.m.
Local Access for Residents: Local access will be given to those with a valid ID.
Starlight Festival Map & Schedule
Holiday Market & Festival: 3 – 7 PM
Photos with Santa: 3 – 6 PM
Tree Lighting Ceremony (Powered by SD Community Power): 5:45 PM
Starlight Parade: 6 PM
Parking Info
Free parking will be available at all City-owned parking lots around Downtown Third Avenue.
Parking is also available at the Civic Branch Library and City Hall.
Please make sure to pay attention to any no-parking signage that may be placed in front of specific parking spots.
