SOUTH BAY EARTH DAY SET FOR APRIL 7 IN CHULA VISTA
Bayside Park at the Chula Vista Marina will be the site of the South Bay Earth Day encouraging residents and visitors to Go Green, Go Clean and Go Bike. The event is set for Saturday, April 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features activities, products and services to help you reduce your impact on the environment, save money and live green and healthy while having fun in the sun at the same time.
Attendees can take advantage of free events such as Bicycle Valet, EV Ride & Drive, Yoga classes and a Tie Dye workshop. Children will be entertained with Living Coast Discovery Center animals, Empower Hour truck and bicycle rodeo. Shop green vendors, visit art exhibits or purchase organic gourmet food. Other vendors will offer free demonstrations and information on energy and water conservation, healthy living, recycling, and more!
