Local organizations are holding a workshop and resource fair for anyone interested in learning about the LGBTQ+ community on Monday, January 13. The LGTBQ+ 101 event in the South Bay will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Chula Vista City Hall Council Chambers, 276 Fourth Avenue.

At the fair, participants will learn basic information, terminology, and key concepts around gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation and intersectionality. Representatives from organizations including Our Safe Place; The Center; PFLAG; Glisten; San Ysidro Health; Pride; and others will be available to share information and answer questions. This event is co-sponsored by the City of Chula Vista Cultural Arts, Healthy Chula Vista and Human Relations Commissions.
