The City of Chula Vista will host a series of community meetings to educate residents about new e-bike regulations taking effect September 4, 2025, and to answer questions about safe riding practices. 

The meetings will provide an overview of state and local e-bike laws, highlight what has changed under the City’s new Electric Micromobility Vehicle Ordinance, and share details about education and enforcement efforts. Residents are invited to attend and learn more about general road safety guidelines, new local and state regulations, and what these rules mean for riders, parents, and the broader community.
