City of Chula Vista offices and facilities, including animal services and library branches, will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

Essential public safety services such as police, fire and emergency response will continue to operate without interruption. Public Works Department services including streets and sewers will be available on an emergency-only basis.  

Residents are reminded that while City offices are closed, many services such as bill payments, permit applications and report filings are available online on the City’s website.
