Eligibility to Serve 

To be eligible to serve as a voting member on most boards and commissions, you must be a resident of the City of Chula Vista and at least 18 years of age. City Council may appoint non-residents; please see City Charter Section 602(D). For more information on rules and regulations related to serving on a board or commission, please refer to the Municipal Code (Title 2, Chapter 2.25), and the City Charter.

Non-Voting Members

Membership to some boards and commissions includes Youth Advisory or Ex-Officio seats. For eligibility to serve as a non-voting member, please see the Membership section on the Municipal Code (Title 2, Chapter 2.25)  of each board and commission.
