VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE 17TH ANNUAL BEAUTIFY CHULA VISTA DAY!
Beautify Chula Vista Day is a dynamic community cleanup event organized by I Love A Clean San Diego and the City of Chula Vista, and made strong by thousands of enthusiastic volunteers. Now celebrating its 17th year in 2019, this event has made an extensive impact on the City of Chula Vista as a whole, having reached dozens focus areas with plans to continue on its path to make a difference for the future. Each year continues to be successful with the help of our dedicated volunteers who continue to beautify Chula Vista, one project at at time!
Last year, 1,033 volunteers came out to help remove an estimated 15,000 lbs of debris! Volunteers also painted out the graffiti, planted hundreds of plants, and removed litter throughout neighborhoods and canyons.
Cleanup Site Locations
We have so many fantastic projects around town, and ways for everyone to give back to our beautiful community. This year we are focusing our efforts on litter eradication, graffiti paint-outs, and landscape mulching. Join us at one of these 3 kick-off sites – where we’ll have free T-shirts, snacks, sign-ups for projects, and more. Below is more information about projects available and locations. Please note that some of the projects require driving or carpooling to another location after the kick-off. As always, we bring all the supplies but we always encourage BYO-buckets, gloves, and reusable bottles!
