Join us for the 23rd Annual Beautify Chula Vista Day—a powerful community cleanup event hosted by the City of Chula Vista in partnership with the South Bay Sustainable Communities Network. For more than two decades, this annual tradition has brought together thousands of dedicated volunteers to help preserve and enhance the beauty of our community.

In 2025, more than 500 volunteers removed thousands of pounds of litter, painted out graffiti, and helped restore neighborhoods, creeks, and canyons throughout Chula Vista. Their commitment and hard work continue to make a meaningful impact and inspire positive change across our city.

As we celebrate the 23rd year of Beautify Chula Vista Day in 2026, we look forward to introducing exciting new cleanup and beautification projects throughout Chula Vista, creating even more opportunities for our community to come together in service and civic pride.

We invite individuals, families, students, community organizations, and businesses to join us in building a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful Chula Vista—one project at a time.

What to Know:

• All volunteers must pre-register. Registration will open soon!

• Please bring your own transportation, wear sturdy shoes and appropriate attire, and bring work gloves, a refillable water bottle, and snacks or lunch.

• Students can earn community service hours!
