Drop Off Used Batteries & Small Electronics in Chula Vista
Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, National City and Unincorporated San Diego County residents can dispose of batteries and small electronics at the South Bay Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility free of charge. No appointment is necessary when the facility is open.
Please note that visitors to the HHW Facility MUST follow these protocols:
- Please bring a valid ID as proof of your residency
- Visitors must remain in their vehicle at all times
- Visitors must be wearing a face covering
- Visitors should only place their household hazardous waste in the car trunk or truck bed – items will NOT be offloaded from the passenger area of a vehicle

This facility will be closed the Saturday after Independence Day and Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day if observed on a Wednesday or Saturday. |
