The City of Chula Vista is home to a variety of health services including two hospitals ( Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center and Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista ) that in addition to emergency services also provide a variety of health related services for preventative care such as health education classes and flu vaccinations.
Two Community Health Clinics also provide affordable, high-quality health care and support services to all people, with a special commitment to the uninsured, low-income, and medically undeserved regardless of documentation status at San Ysidro Health and Chula Vista Family Health Center. In addition, many low cost Urgent Care and Clinics are offered throughout the community.
The County's Heath and Human Service Agency also maintains the South Region Live Well Center in Chula Vista which houses a Public Health Center and a Family Resource Center.
