bike path that circles San Diego Bay. The bikeway travels through the cities of San Diego, National City, Chula Vista, Imperial Beach and Coronado.
Eighteen (18) miles of the bikeway have been built to date. In the City of Chula Vista, there is a gap in the bike path between E Street and H Street. The City is developing planning documents to construct an off-street bike path to close the gap between E Street and F Street/Lagoon Drive. This 0.25 mile bike path will create a separated right-of-way for the exclusive use of bicyclists and pedestrians.
Completing the Bayshore Bikeway will provide mobility options for residents and visitors in the City of Chula Vista and will connect to scenic destinations as well as transit, employment centers, and recreation facilities.
