Southwestern College Estates Residential Permit Parking District
The City of Chula Vista has established a Residential Permit Parking District in the College Estates neighborhood. The Parking District was established to facilitate on street parking for residents and their guests. Click here to learn more about Residential Permit Parking Districts (CVMC 10.87). The Parking District limits on-street parking on the restricted streets Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except City Holidays. Click here to see City Holidays. Only residents within the Parking District will be able to purchase permits that allow parking in the Parking District – click here to see map.
Enforcement in the Parking District will begin on August 22, 2016 and will be through a combined effort from the Southwestern College and Chula Vista Police Department officers.

Residents may purchase three (3) resident permits and one (1) guest permit per residence. Each resident also may purchase up to four (4) 2-week temporary permits per year. All permits, except temporary permits, are subject to a renewal fee every twelve (12) months. All permits will be $20 each per year. Permits will be available for purchase beginning August 1, 2016.

- One-time opportunity to buy permit at Southwestern Community College – City of Chula Vista Finance staff will be available at Southwestern Community College on Friday, August 12, 2016 for a one-time on-site purchase of permits. To purchase a permit on this date, please complete the parking permit application form, bring proof of residency, proof of vehicle’s registration within the district, and payment to:

- By Mail - Permits may also be purchased by mail. To purchase a permit by mail, please complete the parking permit application form, provide proof of residency, copy of each vehicle’s registration and payment and mail to:

- At Chula Vista City Hall - Permits may also be purchased in person at the City of Chula Vista Finance Department at the address listed above. Proof of residency and a copy of the vehicle’s registration are required in order to purchase a permit. The Finance Department Front Counter is open from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
