The City of Chula Vista Finance Department assists in the collection of unpaid trash accounts. Republic Services forwards delinquent accounts to the City for processing and collection. If the City's attempts to collect are unsuccessful and the accounts remain delinquent, the City places a lien on the affected properties and ultimately the unpaid charges are placed on the property tax bills for collection.
NOTE: If you have received a notice from the City requesting payment on a delinquent trash bill, you can make your payment to the City of Chula Vista, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, CA, 91910 or online by clicking the Link below. Please do not pay Republic Services directly as this delinquent portion of your account has been assigned to the City for collection.
ONLY SUBMIT YOUR DELINQUENT TRASH PAYMENT ONLINE IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA FINANCE DEPARTMENT. If you have received a letter from Republic Services, please contact the City of Chula Vista Finance Department for the correct Delinquent Amount Due. (Republic Service's letter does not include the delinquent fees assessed to your account)
Delinquent Trash Payment Plans
A Payment Plan is available to those who have an outstanding Republic Services Trash balance that is currently in collections with the City of Chula Vista. Payment Plans are for those who are currently unable to pay the full balance of their trash bill. These payment plans are in addition to your regular trash bill with Republic Services.
