The purpose of the Chula Vista Fire Prevention Division is to provide services aimed at reducing the risk of fire and injuries to the public. These services are provided through the administration of Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Code Inspection, Fire Investigation and Public Education Programs to the community while maintaining a commitment to excellence in an atmosphere of courtesy, integrity, and respect for diversity. The Fire Marshal is responsible for the administration of the Fire Department's Fire Prevention Division.
