AlertSanDiego is the official emergency notification system in San Diego County, designed to keep residents and businesses informed during critical events. Public officials utilize this system to deliver timely alerts to residents via phone calls, text messages, and emails. The Genasys PROTECT app allows public officials and first responders to communicate speedy and reliable emergency information to the public, such as disaster notifications, evacuation information, shelter locations, road closures and much more. 

 

 

The MyShake app provides early warnings of potential earthquakes and allows users to report their experiences to help improve earthquake science.
