The Library’s Literacy Program is dedicated to supporting adult learners who want to improve their English skills, communicate with confidence, and prepare for the U.S. citizenship test.
Whether you’re just beginning to learn English or looking to strengthen your reading, writing, speaking, or listening abilities, our program provides a welcoming and supportive space for learning. We offer free ESL classes, conversation groups, one-on-one tutoring, and citizenship preparation resources.
Our experienced instructors and trained volunteers are committed to helping you:
- Use English effectively in everyday situations
- Gain confidence at work, school, and in your community
- Prepare for the naturalization interview and civics test
- Reach personal goals through lifelong learning
We believe it’s never too late to learn. All adults are welcome, and no prior education is required.
Our Mission
To empower adult learners by providing free, accessible, and high-quality English language and citizenship instruction that builds confidence, independence, and community connection.
Our Vision
A community where every adult—regardless of background or language—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and fully participate in society through the power of literacy and education.
