Welcome to the City of Chula Vista’s Virtual Community Center! Although all City of Chula Vista recreation centers, libraries, and parks are closed until further notice, Chula Vista Community Services Department is here to continue to provide online recreation and library services and resources to the community.

Now, more than ever, the importance of community is especially crucial. This page will be your go-to for individual and community fun, recreational, and educational opportunities. Together we can strengthen our families and develop a strong, healthy community through online experiences during this challenging time.

Even with social distancing, find ways to connect.

  Write: write a letter to someone dear

  • Phone/text: take time to reach out to family and friends; support others and let them know you’re available

  • FaceTime: call family or friends to stay connected via video chat; plan FaceTime hangouts; this is also doable with Skype, Google Hangouts and other platforms

  • Connect with those at home: have conversation, play a game, keep interaction flowing
