Live Scan Fingerprinting:  (Appointment Required)

Live Scan fingerprinting is available (by appointment only) at the Chula Vista Police Department (located at 315 Fourth Ave., Chula Vista, CA 91911) during the following times:

Tuesdays  |  2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Wednesdays  |  2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Thursdays  |  2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The fee is $18.00 per set of prints plus any costs associated with the California Department of Justice or the FBI.

Please bring a Valid Government picture ID (Driver’s License, Passport, Visa) and completed Live Scan Request Form to the Front Counter of the Police Department at time of your appointment.

Ink Fingerprinting:  (No Appointment Necessary)

Ink fingerprinting is available Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at the Chula Vista Police Department (located at 315 Fourth Ave., Chula Vista, CA 91911).

Valid Government picture ID (Driver’s License, Passport, Visa) is required.

The cost is $12.00 per card. Fingerprint cards must be provided by the person requesting ink prints. The Police Department does not supply ink cards. 

 

Please Note: The Chula Vista Police Department is not a certified INS fingerprinting station and cannot fingerprint for immigration purposes. Contact the INS for a list of certified fingerprinting locations.
