The City of Chula Vista has partnered with the National Institutes of Health and the UCSD Health and Family Medicine Department by launching a walking program in the effort to improve the quality of life for adults, ages 50+. Research has shown that an increase in physical activity can have immediate and profound effects on cardiovascular health. Being physically active helps maintain the ability to live independently and reduces the risk of falling and fracturing bones. Come and join in on the fun while making new friends along the way!
Tuesdays & Thursdays, beginning at 9:30am at the Norman Park Senior Center.
