In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the City of Chula Vista will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities.

The Complaints and Grievance Procedure may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of disability in the provision of services, activities, programs, or benefits by the City of Chula Vista.

The City's Personnel Policy governs employment-related complaints of disability discrimination.

A complaint may be made in writing, by phone, by using the California Relay Service, or by email. The complaint must contain information about the alleged discrimination, such as name, address, phone number of complainant and location, date, and description of the problem. The complaint should be submitted by the complainant or their designee no later than 60 calendar days after the alleged violation.

• Report a Civil Rights violation with the US Department of Justice
• File a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department
• File a complaint with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development

Persons with disabilities may request a reasonable accommodation to rules, policies, practices, and procedures for the siting, development, and use of housing, including housing related services or facilities.

All requests for accommodation are determined on a case-by-case basis. To request a reasonable accommodation related to the construction or modification of housing, please complete and submit a Reasonable Accommodation Request to the Development Services Department.
