Both Chula Vista individual artists and arts organizations may qualify. All grant applications must support collaborative projects that nurture and cultivate innovation, competitive edge, and a better quality of life for the residents of Chula Vista.  Collaborations must be strategic and meaningful ( including but not limited to the following examples: pool resources, leverage existing assets including expertise and space, build capacity, and  further audience access and cultural equity). Please not that provision of free space from one to the other is not considered collaboration for purposes of the PVAG.

All projects should meet one or more of the Cultural Arts Master Plan Goals.  The Cultural Arts Master Plan can be found at: chulavistaca.gov/cvarts

1.Read the Application Guide Packet, Criteria and Scoring Matrix, and the Developing Project Goals and Objectives Guide

2. Fill out the application in its entirety and submit all supporting documents. 

3.prospective applicants may contact Cultural Arts staff to schedule a preliminary technical meeting to address questions, to provide clarification, or to review proposed project scopes.  .
